Meet our team…
Derek
Director
Founding owner of Promonotions with over 30 years experience in Marketing, Advertising and Sales promotion. Derek left an award winning sales career at Colgate Palmolive to head up business development at Avery label Australia before forming his own creative agency in 1988. Derek sold out of his agency ‘The Adcafe’ in the early 2000’s to concentrate on Promonotions and his passion for investing and developing on pack and near pack promotional products and campaigns. One of Derek’s inventions is the ‘Stunt Wheel’ concept which found its way into over a billion snack packs around the world. Derek believes in building business through building long term relationships with his clients and suppliers. He loves all things related to the water and one of his favourite pastimes is kayaking with his dog, Oscar where he can get away from it all.

Jenni
Procurement & Logistics Director
Jenni is a primary school teacher trained mother of 3 adult children. She enjoys English Cottage gardens, knitting, crocheting and quilting. Her favourite period of history is English Medieval, especially all things monastic. Favourite TV shows are Time Team, Numbers, Bones. Jenni’s dream is to visit Kenya on a mission trip, and the ruins of the English abbeys and priories.

Jess
Industrial Designer | Graphic Designer
Having graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree, she now spends her days making 3D models and mock ups of just about anything. Occasionally you might see her zone out into a land of technical jibberish, but it’s only temporary. Just crank up the music, give her some candy, and she’ll be back to her usual self. Oh and she loves her mini lop bunny, Buttons.

Wazza
Co-ordinator of Interpretive Visual Stimulus
Wazza is 90 stories tall and over 3000 years old. Born in the darkest part of New Zealand, he swam to Australia in the summer of 2001 and took residence in the Invisible Citadel of Justice which looks over the greater Sydney area. Currently he works incognito for leading specialist print and promotional companies, lending his superior intelligence and bravado for corporate financial gain. He also likes to talk in the third person narrative.

Andy
Visualisation / Illustration / Conception
A child still stuck in the 80′s, Andy drips with artistic talent from every opening. He has produced a plethora of outstanding creatives over many mediums, and its rumoured that he has subtly included the answer to the question of life in many of his creations. Adept in 4D space, he can conquer any artistic conundrum with a little effort, and this is evident in may of the showpieces on walls around the world. Among Andy’s favourite artistic toys are his regency chair leg and his bucket of chicken grease.

Dan
Creative Director
Dan has held various roles from Creative to Design Director. He’s been mentored while working in boutique to international agencies in Sydney & London since 1997. Having managed a diverse array of creatives, design teams and studios, his approach is adaptable and collaborative. Dan believes in integration, print, online, engaging imagery, consumer insights, impulse buying, easy mechanics, charming the senses, playful copy, pop culture, surfing…… and of course New! Win! and Free!
